Sukhotai massage is a combined form of Thai massage, do-in and shiatsu. You can probably best compare it to a Thai massage on the table.
A selection has been made from the above massage techniques and made into a complete whole. Specially aimed at Western people.
In this massage form we will work with stretching, bending and stretching techniques. It is not a very relaxing massage form. The masseur also stays in constant contact with the client (keep breathing, relax, etc). The result of the massage, however, is that you will experience a lot more space in your body. You are, as it were, made completely flexible again.
In order for the massage to go smoothly, you are advised to wear loose-fitting clothing in which you feel comfortable and that do not restrict your movements.
The massage helps relieve sore muscles, provides relaxation and improves your general sense of well-being. So a Thai massage is a 'perfect time' to fully stretch and stretch your body and relax from head to toe.
Customers experience it as yoga exercises that are then put on just a little heavier by the masseur. That is why this massage is also called "lazy yoga" massage.
