Connective tissue massage is generally applied when adhesions between muscles and skin are detected and that these adhesions cause painful problem areas. But in addition, connective tissue massage can also help with poorly supplied and sagging skin (cellulite, stretch marks, acne, scar tissue).
The connective tissue massage, unlike the other forms of massage, is not applied to the muscles, but to the connective tissue layer in the body. This layer is located between the epidermis and the muscles. The connective tissue techniques are generally experienced as more or less painful. This is because I work without oil, otherwise I have no grip.
But the result is that there is a much better blood circulation in the treated areas so that nutrients can be better supplied, and waste is better disposed of.
The connective tissue massage I offer is generally in a series of 3 weeks, once a week a massage. Then 3 weeks of rest and another 3 weeks of massage. Depending on progress and results, this can be repeated again.
And then there is the connective tissue massage for reduction of cellulite on the upper legs. Here I also use special rollers in addition to the connective tissue. This is a weekly treatment, depending on the result min. 8-10 weeks.
At some point the process stops. Then an appointment every 5-6 weeks to maintain lasting results.
