Because I value a good way of dealing with each other, the information about the massage treatments in the practice is listed in terms of method and house rules.

Clarity is paramount in this, so that I can serve you in a responsible, safe, pleasant and above all relaxed manner.
To enter the massage room completely relaxed, it is advised to be on time. And to turn off your cell phone or put it on silent.

* Ethics, discretion, responsibility, safety, respect and reliability are what you expect from me and of course I offer them to you. I may expect the same from you.
* Personal hygiene is also part of it. This is not only more pleasant for me to work with, but also for you to undergo the treatment with an extra good feeling. I therefore assume that you come to the appointment freshly showered.
* The massages at Practice Inner Strength contain no erotic elements. It is not appreciated if this is asked. If this does happen, the treatment will stop immediately. I will also report the incident to the police. The treatment will be charged. Future massages will be refused.

* Before starting a 1st massage treatment there is always an intake interview. There you answer a number of questions on the anamnesis form. The questions are purely intended to gain insight into your general state of health and whether there are any contraindications (see explanation in the menu bar under contraindications). Of course, this information remains strictly confidential and will never be given to third parties without your written consent.
* You understand that if I am not fully or incorrectly informed by you, you cannot hold me liable for the results or possible consequences during or after a massage treatment. Massages at the Inner Strength Practice are entirely voluntary, and you are aware that injuries/complications may occur as a result of physical activity without any wrongful act or negligence on the part of the Inner Strength Practice.
* When in doubt about an existing condition or injury, I may choose to discontinue treatment and refer you to a physician. No charge will then be made. Follow-up treatment is possible as soon as the doctor agrees.
* If you are already under treatment by a doctor, therapist or specialist, I may ask you to consult with him or her whether a massage treatment may be applied during the treatment period.

* For my part, I am serving you as best I can for your health and safety. Therefore, I will refer you to your family doctor or physical therapist if there is any doubt or if the symptoms or contraindications are such that I cannot or should not treat them in the scope of massage therapist or I simply do not know. The same can apply with certain medication or if you are already under treatment by a medical specialist. So, you can discuss whether treatments are applicable. If so, we will start together after a written consent of the medical specialist.
* In all other cases, after the intake interview, anamnesis and in clear consultation with you, I put together a result-oriented treatment plan. This, for stress, symptom, pain and RSI reduction, but especially relaxation.
* Smoking, alcohol and drugs are not allowed in Practice Inner Strength.
* In my practice I work with a quiet background music, if you prefer no music, this is possible. I also use aromatic oils for a special and pleasant fragrance in the room. If you are hypersensitive to fragrances, please let me know. Furthermore, I work with almond massage oil, please let me know if you have an allergy to this.

Massage:
* Out of clothes or not?
Where some people unashamedly drop all their clothes on the floor, others find it quite a thing: getting out of your clothes for a massage. But is it always necessary to take off your clothes? During a massage, you can feel quite vulnerable. You surrender in a way you may not do much in everyday life. You can't do that if you don't feel comfortable.

Therefore, there are at least two moments when you can check with yourself to what extent you want to expose yourself: when booking a massage and when entering the practice.

About the first moment: you can book massages with me where I use oil and your clothes come off, and massages where this is not the case. This is always indicated in the description of the treatment.

During the booking process you can already see for yourself what you need and where you can relax the most. This choice can always be reversed when you are in my practice.

For whatever reason, you may feel uncanny at the idea of having to take off your clothes. You don't have to be able to explain that to me. I find it so much more important that you follow your feelings than that you find the "right" words for those feelings!

Your feelings are always right. For you. At that moment.

* Once you lie on the massage table, I drape a cloth over you. This keeps it feeling warm and safe for you. Only the body part to be massaged is uncovered.
* So, it is up to you whether you keep your underwear on. If you do, please keep in mind that oil will get on your underwear and with below:

- For ladies: the bra is loosened on the massage table, therefore please wear a bra with the clasp on the back. Afterwards I will fasten the bra again.

- For men: please do not wear boxer shorts with longer legs, as this makes various leg and hip massage techniques more difficult.
- And that covered body parts are not or not properly treated.
* No erotic massages take place and are not negotiable. Erogenic areas are avoided during massage.

Bottom line

Feeling safe and secure comes before anything else. I keep saying it, because to me this is really the most important prerequisite for a relaxing massage. I am there to support you in your process. Should that mean that I have to change my plans, I will do so with love. Even if that is halfway through a massage.

General:

* Flexibility is very high at Practice Inner Strength. You make appointments Monday through Friday from 16:00, the last treatment is booked at 20:00. Sometimes it is also possible to book during the weekend.
* The intake and (follow-up) massages take place by appointment. Making an appointment can be done by email.
* It is very nice if you are on time for your appointment, so we both can go into the massage relaxed. Being late by you will unfortunately deduct from your time.

* Something can always happen that requires you to cancel the appointment. This can be done free of charge up to 24 hours in advance, after that I will be forced to charge a portion of the massage due to the time reserved especially for you. Practice Inner Strength can deviate from this, for example in case of sudden illness or force majeure.

* Cancellation procedure: cancellation can only be done via email or what's-app to avoid discussion about the time of cancellation.

* Practice Inner Strength has the right to cancel an appointment. Due to sudden illness or force majeure, there can be a cancellation at short notice. In that case a new appointment will be made as soon as possible.

* A treatment is not a substitute for a doctor's visit or medicine. It works purely supportive in a process! A treatment can promote recovery and healing processes and strengthen health but should never be seen as a substitute for treatment from regular health care.

* Payment should be made in cash, preferably in cash. Pinning is not (yet) possible.

* Practice Inner Strength is not responsible for damage or loss of personal belongings.

* Practice Inner Strength is not responsible for injuries, accidents or other risks, including damage or loss of personal belongings.
